Meet the team of photographers contributing to the 100 Black Dads project.
I am a newborn and family lifestyle photographer in Philadelphia. I was inspired by the countless men of color in our greater Philadelphia community who show up for their families with love, tenderness, and dignity every day. The 100 Black Dads Project is committed to revealing an often-unsaid truth: that the photos of families, while unique, are always bound by a common thread of love, regardless of color, creed or circumstance.
My name is Sabrina and I'm a Philadelphia area portrait, wedding, and birth photographer! I've been an artist all my life. I was that weird nerdy girl in class always doodling. It was my favorite hobby throughout school all the way into college. I was actually aiming to become an animation and media artist, yet it took a single photograph shot by a photography student to make me change majors. The rest is history. I now enjoy producing quality portraits for clients all around the Delaware Valley. I believe in moments over poses and take pride in capturing not just smiles but personalities. I live in Delco with my loving geek husband and two boys. I can't wait to work with you!
Ore Adesina is a photographer based out of Oklahoma City, specializing in lifestyle and documentary family portraits. Ore's focus is on telling stories through images in an honest, unique and meaningful way. Her goal is to capture the “perfectly imperfect” – images that excite hearts and remind families of the little details that make each person in their family unique. Everything is fair game, hugs, laughter, kisses, and even toddler meltdowns. The best part? No requirements for kids to say cheese, ask them repeatedly to look at the camera, or require them to stay still in a particular spot for any length of time. She captures who they are, wherever they are, so that families will have photographs to remind them over and over how the magic of childhood.
